Canon 5D Mark III-DSLR Finally Announced

The Canon 5D Mark III has been released at last.

Canon is at the forefront of DSLR technology yet again with their latest model, the EOS 5D Mark III. It might not be the highest end model in the market, but that does not mean it is a slouch in terms of performance


The Canon EOS 5D Mark III will continue where the Canon EOS 5D Mark II leaves off, incorporating enhanced video features for professionals in the fields of cinematography, television production and documentary filmmaking. Old users as well as new adopters alike ought to find that this model delivers better noise reduction, longer recording times and a built-in headphone jack for audio monitoring purposes.

It is capable of capturing 1080p Full HD video at 24p (23.976), 25p, and 30p (29.97) fps; 720p HD recording at 60 (59.94) and 50 fps; and SD recording at 30 (29.97) and 25 fps, which opens up a whole new world of opportunities for cinematographers and videographers when it comes to capturing memories for posterity.

Expect the Canon EOS 5D Mark III to roll out at the end of this month, where the body alone will retail for a rather hefty $3,499.
