How difficult is it for you to wake up in the morning? If you are anything have tried all sorts of alarm clocks just to ensure that you get up in time for work every day. Peoples even set several alarms, especially for days when They have something really important on Thier plate. Alas, it doesn’t always work.
A lot. Like more than five times every morning. Who doesn’t? We all struggle with getting out of bed – some more than others – which is why this new gadget is particularly intriguing. Sure, alarms in the past have come up with their own unique tricks to pry us out of bed, but none quite go to the lengths of the Ramos Alarm Clock. And none look quite as cool.
The Nixie Ramos (pictured) looks like it came out of a 1950s sci-fi alien flick. The alarm clock works in a few ways: To deactivate it, users need to walk to a wireless control panel placed somewhere (your choosing) in the house and punch in a diffuse code – the code can be today’s date or a four digit number that gets flashed on the clock itself.
The project is still only in the Kickstarter phase, unfortunately, but it’s quickly nearing its goal. Currently there are three versions planned: LED Ramos, Nixie Ramos and Ramos Custom. $150-$350,
